The entire event was filmed for TV, and the lineup of athletes represented a range of countries:&nbsp; Ivan Medimurec (Croatia); Georg \u00d6gmundsson (Iceland); Rafal Kobylarz (Poland); Al Myers (USA); Chad Ullom (USA); Alexandru Cortean (Romania); Roni Kecsk\u00e9s (Serbia); Tibor Kiss (Hungary); Tam\u00e1s Saliga (Hungary); and Johan Langhorst (Netherlands) .<br>&nbsp;<br>Since last year\u2019s IHGF World Highland Games Strength Challenge, \u201cthe overall standard had significantly improved,\u201d Francis Brebner reported, \u201cand new contenders for this year\u2019s championships were \u00d6gmundsson, Kobylarz and Langhorst, all of whom were very impressive to see for the first time. \u201cFrom the first event on, Kobylarz took the reins, winning four of the eight events, but it was not all smooth terrain.
